Train to Gain funding
Through Train to Gain's Leadership & Management programme, owner
managers and company directors have a great opportunity to apply for
funding to help develop business leadership skills.
This offer
is available to companies in the South East with
5-249 staff.
Up
to £1000 to help develop your business leadership skills
Train to
Gain can fund your learning programme up to a maximum contribution of
£1000.

The first £500 is available to managing directors, owner managers,
and company directors and does not need to be matched.
-
A further grant of up to £500, which must be matched funded, is
available to any senior manager or the management team.
This money can be put towards one or a combination of training solutions
to benefit you and your business. For example:

Workshops
-
Online training
-
Training programmes
-
Bespoke/tailored training options
-
Peer learning
-
Business mentoring/coaching, where the mentor/coach has the
appropriate accreditation or membership of a professional
association.
All training must have started and the grant claimed within 90 days of
the grant being approved. All grants are exclusive of VAT.
Previous
beneficiaries of Business Leader funding are not eligible to apply.
How could you use this grant
I'm sure I
don't need to tell you what a good offer this is, especially in these
difficult times. You could refresh your presentation skills and improve
your corporate presentations with a bespoke course from Young Markets.
You could then run an in-house course for up to 6 people, which usually
costs £1150 but it will only cost £325.
If you
need to brush up on your sales skills you could use
